DMCA Policy

Weight Loss Instant Pot Recipes ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Weight Loss Instant Pot Recipes service and website (the "Site") if such claims are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement

If you are a copyright owner, or are authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please submit a written notification ("DMCA Notice") to our Designated Copyright Agent with substantially the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed: Provide a detailed description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, including its title, author, and registration number (if applicable).
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity: Provide a precise URL or other specific location on the Weight Loss Instant Pot Recipes site where the alleged infringing material is located. We need enough information to locate the material.
  3. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party: This must include your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the infringing material and take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification ("DMCA Counter-Notification") to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your DMCA Counter-Notification must include substantially the following:

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled: Provide the URL or description of the material and the location on the Weight Loss Instant Pot Recipes site where it appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if your address is outside of the U.S., for any judicial district in which Weight Loss Instant Pot Recipes may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA Notice or an agent of such person.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA Counter-Notification, we will promptly provide the complaining party with a copy of the counter-notification. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the content provider, member, or user, the removed material may be replaced, or access to it restored, in 10 to 14 business days or more after receipt of the counter-notification, at our sole discretion.
